Masters of The Scratch is a monthly series on The
Old School Radio Hour showcasing hip hop's
legendary and pioneering DJs as they mix,cut and
scratch the best of old school hip hop's freshest cuts
and true school breakbeats.
This series made its debut on August 31, 2007 with
DJ Jazzy Jay of The Universal Zulu Nation and The
Grand Imperial Jay Cee of The Herculords and The
Just Four appeared in September.
The series returned on January 11th with DJ Tony
Tone of The Cold Crush Brothers and Johnny "Juice"
Rosado of Public Enemy was our master for
February.
The next master will be in May.
Future masters included on later shows are Barry
B(Doug E.Fresh's DJ),Grandwizzard Theodore(The
L-Brothers/Fantastic Five) and more.
